Ksenia Kopalova is an illustrator, researcher and an illustration educator.

She is also a co-founder of Slonvboa, a non-profit magazine about illustration, and a blog about contemporary Japanese illustration called IINE!

Ksenia's projects are inspired by the idea of illustration as knowledge-making and an interdisciplinary research tool. In her personal work she mainly explores memory- and place-making strategies. She also writes about illustration and teaches illustration.
